Things to do in Daylesford

Convent Gallery
For art, history and culture, visit the Convent Gallery. After you have explored the gallery (entrance fee $5), relax for coffee and a snack at the cafe.

Lake Daylesford
A lap around Lake Daylesford is an absolute must any time of year. It’s a few minutes walk from Daisy Hill Cottage and don’t forget to take your camera and some bread to feed the ducks.

Daylesford Sunday market
We love the Daylesford Sunday market. You’ll find fresh local produce, antiques, crafts, trash and treasure, coffee and food. It’s held at the Daylesford Railway Station every Sunday from 8am to 3pm.

Daylesford Spa Country Railway
Travel through the beautiful scenic countryside and forests of the Central Highlands in a restored Victorian Railways railmotor. Enjoy a locally inspired food platter and regional wines on board the historic train from Daylesford Station to Musk and return.

Shopping in Daylesford
A visit to Daylesford is not complete without some local shopping. With book stores, chocolate, galleries, clothing, gifts and art in amongst the cafes and restaurants. There is a Coles supermarket and Baker’s Delight.
The main shopping strip is Vincent St which is a couple of minutes walk from Daisy Hill Cottage.
